Engaging opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our dynamic Financial team at our Mohawk, MI office. The Accounting Intern will work closely with the Staff Accountant and Purchaser to support Accounts Payable and contribute to various tasks within the Financial group. In this role, you will gain practical experience in accounts receivable processing, contribute to weekly financial reporting, and provide crucial assistance across the full spectrum of the financial function, directly contributing to the efficient operation of our financial processes.
Role and Responsibilities:
Accounts receivable payment processing
Weekly reporting:
Project costs
Budget updates
Assist the financial group on an as-needed basis:
Assist with the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, vendor reconciliations, and vendor inquiries
Assist purchasing with order processing, vendor management, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate coding to the general ledger
Process outgoing mail and collect incoming mail from the post office
Ensure timely tax payments and filings
Project reporting
Assist the Staff Accountant with various financial tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of projects
Other tasks as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods, working at a computer
Ability to work in a typical office environment, which may include occasional visits to manufacturing or testing areas
Walking, standing, going up and down stairs, sitting, kneeling, crouching, bending for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and heavier weights on an infrequent basis
Wearing PPE complying with the customer’s and Mohawk Technology’s safety standards, including safety-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair nets, and smocks
Working Hours:
Typical office hours:
8 am – 5 pm
4-6 hours, 3-4 days/week preferred
Full-time hours training in for the first 2 weeks preferred
Occasional nights and weekends
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Major in Accounting, Finance, or related experience
QuickBooks experience preferred
Microsoft (Excel) experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to gain an understanding of business operations to provide support
Strong organizational and time management skills

Seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to manage our financial records. We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our collaborative Financial team at our Mohawk, MI office. The Part-Time Bookkeeper will work closely with the Staff Accountant and Purchaser in the Financial group to manage Accounts Payable and assist with other crucial tasks within the Financial group. We are seeking a highly motivated Process Installation Foreman to join our team at our Siren, WI shop. This position requires full-time travel to customer sites. The Process Installation Foreman will lead and coordinate the installation of process systems at customer sites. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in pipe fitting and welding, and the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Must be willing and able to relocate to the Siren, WI area.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage pipe fitters and process welders, including subcontractors, in a manufacturing environment
Work with customers, project managers, and engineers
Ensure quality control and that installations meet project specifications
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or delays on the job site
Manage materials and inventory on job sites
Train and mentor other team members
Pipe fitting and sanitary stainless TIG welding
Read and fabricate systems from P&ID drawings
Operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers
Full-time travel required
